Important Announcement:

BAND CAMP SHOWCASE/MANDATORY PARENT MEETING:

Please mark your calendar for the Mandatory Parent Meeting and Band Camp Showcase to be held Thursday, August 12th at 6:00 pm. in the Multipurpose Room and the Stadium. More information will be sent home during Band Camp.

When?

July 29th & 30th (Color Guard & Drumline Only) - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

August 2nd (Incoming Freshmen & New Members Only) - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

August 3rd (Incoming Sophomores Only) - 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

August 3rd (Full Band & Color Guard) - 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm

August 4th - 6th (Full Band & Color Guard) - 8:30 am - 4:30pm

August 9th - 13th (Full Band & Color Guard) - 8:30 am - 6:30pm

August 20th & 22nd (All Students) - 5:00 pm - 9:00pm

Thursday Night Practices Begin August 19th 5:00 pm - 9:00pm

Where?

Rodriguez High School

Why?

Band Camp is crucial to the Entertainment Unit’s success.  During Band Camp, the students will begin to learn the music and drill for the upcoming season’s competitions.

How?

COST:  The cost to cover Band Camp is $400 and will be credited towards your total Fair Share amount of $600.  Checks should be made out to Rodriguez Music Boosters and deposited in the Booster mailbox in the band room (include students name to ensure proper credit).  Credit and Debit cards are accepted.  You can also pay online Here.  There is a small (3%) convenience fee added to the payment.

Marching/Guard Shoes (if needed) are an additional expense - $35.00/$40.00

IMPORTANT MUST HAVES FOR BAND CAMP:

 

Be sure to have your Athletic Clearance and Physical completed!

 

Additional Requirements:  

  • $400 check made payable to Rodriguez Music Boosters (or you may pay by online Here.

  • A separate check due on the first day of band camp for any meals that are to be purchased by the student during band camp. Place your orders for the two weeks of band camp Here.

  • Check for Marching Shoes (may be combined with band camp check).  Required for freshman and new students; as needed for returning students.

  • Tennis Shoes and socks (required).

  • Instrument and supplies needed for your instrument.

  • Pencil, Hat/Visor

  • Smartphone

  • Water Bottle / Hydration backpack you can refill throughout the day.

  • SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN

  • WATER, WATER, WATER.........We always need lots of bottled water.  Anyone wishing to donate a case of water during band camp can drop it off at the band room.
