PURPOSE: To provide scholarships to six (6) Rodriguez High School graduating seniors who will further their education. 

 

AWARD COMPONENTS: Six (6) $500.00 scholarships will be awarded. They will be awarded to at least one student from: 

• Band - Fall and Winter Season (includes Jazz Band & Guard) 

• Choir (programs that the Rodriguez Boosters support)

 

CRITERIA:

• Applicant must have participated for at least 2 years in an RHSEU music program (Jazz Band, Marching Band (fall and winter season), Choir, and/or Guard), and currently be enrolled as a senior, not just a TA.

• Student must have a cumulative > 3.0 GPA in the program and meet current REU eligibility requirements (GPA). 

• One letter of Recommendation (not from Mr. Miller nor Ms. Seibold).

 

APPLICATION PROCESS: Applicant must submit the Google form along with attaching the essay and letter of recommendation in the form. Essays are scored on grammar/spelling, composition/content, and ease of reading. 

DEADLINE: MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA GOOGLE FORM by May 4, 2026
