Information for the competition.

# 1  Del Oro High School

If you are coming for the parade, it would be best to get there early. You can park in the neighborhood around Taylor Road before the street closes for the parade. Otherwise, you can park in the Stadium Parking Lot on Boynton Road. It is a LONG walk from the parking lot to the parade route. Please do NOT try to park with the buses and trailers. There will NOT be enough room.

# 2  Bring chairs, blankets & games.

We will be at Del Oro all day. We have a grassy hill where camp will be set up for the entire day. Find the baseball fields. We will be camped on the hill near the fields. There are a few restaurants in town, but remember, you are NOT allowed to take your student off the Del Oro campus.

# 3  Jobs for the Parents for Comp Days

Available opportunities include:

• Hydration Station

• Uniform Checks (hair, laces tucked in, black socks, jewelry removed, etc)

• Prep & Serve Meals

• Clean-up

# 4  Tickets for Field Performance

Tickets for the field show are $15 for adults and available at the door.

# 5  Check your student's garment bag.

Marching Band: Uniform, black calf-length socks, shoes, shako, hairnet, hair ties, bobby pins, beret (if worn). Shoes should be clean. Uniforms should be in their garment bag.

Color Guard: Black ankle socks, long black socks, makeup, guard gloves, dress blacks. Uniforms, shoes, and socks should be in their garment bag.

# 6  Pit Crew

One of the parent jobs on the Sign-Up Genius is for the Pit Crew. These parents (10) will help push the pit instruments and podiums onto the field for competition. At this site, the job is very strenuous due to pushing the equipment across campus and down a steep hill. ​​
