Information for the competition.

# 1  Amador Valley High School

If you are coming for the parade, it would be best to get there early. You can park along the streets in downtown Pleasanton, with the exception of Main Street. There will be no spectator parking at the high school. Please do NOT try to park with the buses and trailers. There will NOT be enough room.

# 2  Downtown Pleasanton

Pleasanton has a farmers' market, shops, and restaurants for you to enjoy along Main Street.

​

# 3  Jobs for the Parents for Comp Days

Available opportunities include:

• Hydration Station

• Uniform Checks (hair, laces tucked in, black socks, jewelry removed, etc)

• Prep & Serve Meals

• Clean-up

# 4  Foothill High School

After the parade, you can head to Foothill High School. There is limited paid parking on campus for $20. Parking in the surrounding neighborhoods is permitted. 

​

# 5  Tickets for Field Performance

You can pre-purchase field show tickets with the link below. Adults are $18 and Seniors are $15. Family Packs are also available. General Admission will be $20 on the day of the event. 

​

# 6  Jewelry and Nail Polish

Please make sure your student removes their nail polish and earrings for the parade performance. If necessary, ear and nose piercings may be covered with a Band-Aid. 

 

# 7  Check your student's garment bag.

Marching Band: Uniform, black calf-length socks, shoes, shako, hairnet, hair ties, bobby pins, beret (if worn). Shoes should be clean. Uniforms should be in their garment bag.

Color Guard: Black ankle socks, long black socks, makeup, guard gloves, dress blacks. Uniforms, shoes, and socks should be in their garment bag.

# 8  Pit Crew

One of the parent jobs on the Sign-Up Genius is for the Pit Crew. These parents (5) will help push the pit instruments and podiums onto the field for competition. We would like it to be the same crew for each field competition. *Please see Gil Usman for a Pit Crew Vest. ​​

# 9  Hydrate

This is another long day. Please encourage your student to drink plenty of water and eat. 

​

# 10  Halfway There

This is show #3! This will be the halfway point of the fall competition season. Come cheer on these wonderful students!
